The scope of the contract comprises the design and construction of refurbishment and upgrading works to the existing Island West Transfer Station (IWTS) and Island East Transfer Station (IETS) located at Kennedy Town and Chai Wan respectively and the operation and maintenance of the IWTS and IETS, including the provision of waste transfer services. The Contract is scheduled to commence on 1 January 2023, following the expiry of the existing contract (Contract No. EP/SP/63/11) for the design, construction, operation and maintenance of the IWTS and IETS.
